On the bent shaft version, the shaft is constructed out of 3K Plain Weave carbon, providing the paddler with a strong and lightweight shaft. The blades on this paddle are the same beefy blades that come with the Whiskey Carbon paddle, but these ones are constructed from compression-molded multi-laminate fiberglass resin and a lightweight interior core.
