Description

Relax in old-fashioned front porch style with the Hinkle Chair Company Winchester Garden Bench. This bench features rust-resistant steel hardware and is available in your choice of finishes. About the Hinkle Chair CompanyFor over 170 years, the Hinkle family has been making quality hardwood furniture in the same location in Springfield, Tennessee. But in 1996, the company expanded with two new buildings- one to house production facilities, the other to house a state-of-the-art finishing system. Painted benches should be used on a covered porch or patio and not left exposed to the elements in order to prolong the life of the finish. Between the 1950s and 1990s, they focused almost solely on the production of rocking chairs due to high demand for their quality rockers. Durably constructed from a combination of ash wood, rubber wood, and other select hardwoods, this graceful bench features a gently curved slatted seat and criss-cross windowpane style back braces for a touch of interest. These innovations have allowed the Hinkle Chair Company to meet the demands of the rocking chair market and to offer new and exciting furniture pieces among their storied collection.
