The weather-shielding Boys' Snowshot Jacket is our ski/boarding jacket for boys built with an H2No Performance Standard 2-layer polyester shell that has a waterproof/breathable barrier for storm protection, plus a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and fully taped seams to keep him dry. The 150-g Thermogreen polyester (92% recycled) insulation stays warm even when wet, while lightweight polyester plain weave lines the body and sleeves to provide a smooth glide over layers. For an extra season of wear, the articulated sleeves have our grow-fit feature, which increases length by 2 inches. This jacket is fully featured with a removable (via snaps) three-panel hood and an internal elasticized gusset for a stay-put fit. The waterproof, center-front zipper with full-length internal wind flap has a zipper garage to prevent chin chafe. Chest pocket with covered zipper has a pass-through for media cord. Pass pocket on sleeve has waterproof zipper; handwarmer pockets have covered zipper closure. The tapered sleeve cuffs provide extra coverage and adjust with hook-and-loop closure.
