It has long been part of SIDI's range and offers the rider an additional level of fit at the heel. The Sidi Ergo 5 is - in this man's opinion - probably the best value shoe in the range. Similar to BOA closures so popular in the market now, the Tecno 3 uses wires to evenly spread load over the shoe. Sidi's legendary customisable comfort and fit are of course a main feature of the Ergo 5. The system allows for millimetre precise adjustment for a perfect fit. An elegant and minimalist look combines with a bucket load of technologies and performance that are married to a stiff yet comfortable sole. The Ergo 5 shares many of the features of the Wire and Shot models. In addition to the comfort offered by the generous padding in the tongue, SIDI have also greatly improved their insole. The Ergo 5 shares many of the features of the Wire and Shot models. The Twelve Carbon Composite sole, whilst not as light as that found on the Wire, has been specifically designed to cradle the foot perfectly, lending great levels of both comfort and performance. The bottom of the closure is a single small velcro strap. 2 buttons on the side of the dial are depressed to release the lever to allow tightening/loosening of the shoe. Now made using a dense Memory Foam, the Ergo 5's Soft Instep 3 will beautifully conform to your feet after a few rides to give an excellent level of tailored comfort and fit, otherwise unobtainable without the use of moldable offerings.
