Description

Its no coincidence that art directors, book editors, and magazines all over the world use photos from 1x photographers. All photos on 1x are selected by a team of professional gallery curators, just like in a real photo gallery. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Subject: Cityscape Style: Traditional Product Type: Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art Made in USA Period: Modernism Shape: Rectangle Orientation: Landscape Style: Contemporary Size: 24 x 47. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. Getting published on 1x is a great achievement; many photographers whose works now hang in art galleries were once discovered on 1x. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. 1x is not your average photo site. Our curators have experience from well known institutions such as Sothebys and Tate Modern Art. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
